This week's login reward is a hellfire pack. Don't need it but yay to free ish. This week's weekly tower reward is some tokens. Whatever. I payed the first two matches in the tower, a 4-Way and a match versus Sami Zayn.

 

WWE 2K26

Did the same thing in 26. Beat Rhea in an ambo match before beating Ricky Starks in a normal match. Shout out to this amethyst Batista card from the Ripped set. Also, did some "Dirty Dom-inance" tower matches in The Island to unlock his gear parts.

 WWE 2K20 UNIVERSE MODE

(Going through what would've been 2K21's Universe calendar) 

Did the Memphis card. Typical legends-filled independent shows don't usually have overarching storylines so this one was a straightforward card where each bout was a self-contained story and it really helped with my immersion. Also, it sucks to have the very limited number of wrestlers realistically (when talking about immersion) that could work this show.

TIMELINE OF THE WORLD/LITERATURE The book : The Bible Today's entry : Proverbs 23 More Solomonic wisdom going over self-control, gluttony and parental guidance.  GOING THROUGH THE YEARS OF FILM/EARLY 20th CENTURY WORLD EVENTS Today's film : Huns and Hyphens (1918) I really enjoyed the special effects stunts in this one. There was an Assassin's Creed-esque dive off of a barn roof onto a pile of hay. There was tussle in the middle of the street where the two brawling men narrowly avoid getting flattened by a trolley. Furthermore, there was one of those hanging-precariously-from-high-atop-a-building-roof stunts. My favorite one might've been the one where both men glide down from the building on an umbrella.           TIMELINE OF THE WORLD/LITERATURE The book : The Bible Today's entry : Songs 2 These two love birds need to settle down. NEXT UP : Songs 3  GOING THROUGH THE YEARS OF FILM/EARLY 20th CENTURY WORLD EVENTS Today's film : Nothin' I nixed watching The Decorator as well as the other Hardy shorts on my list. I haven't been pleased with my progress as I feel like I've been stuck in 1918-1920 for forever. The Hardy and Laurel solo shorts weren't doing much for me other than just looking through the lens of the late 1910s. So I think I'm going to play it like real life. If a movie simply looks good or is notable enough then I'll check it out while calling possible audibles here and there along the way. Hopefully this will make things move at a more preferable pace for me.
