 GOING THROUGH THE YEARS OF FILM/EARLY 20th CENTURY WORLD EVENTS

Today's film: "He's In Again" (1918)

I said yesterday that Oliver "Babe" Hardy would be back in He's In Again, and he was but in all actuality these are headlined by Billy West who, once again, I find a bit humorous and endearing in his own right but not anywhere near the level of Charlie Chaplin himself. Hardy seems to mostly just be an antagonist in these.

 

NEXT ENTRY: "The Villain" (1917) with Billy West and Hardy. Going back to 1917 as this movie seemed to be unavailable on YouTube except for an upload that was set to premiere a week or two after it came up on my checklist so I made a note to remind myself to come back and check i out later. After that we're back in 1919 with Laurel in "Do You Love Your Wife?"

YOUNG JEDI ADVENTURES 

Today's episode was: The Tale of Short Spire/The Team Up

Cool to see the show once again depict already established canon things. This time it's Batuu which is the Galaxy's Edge park at Disney. The first episode was enjoyable at it saw a disingenuous, seemingly-corporate jerk lying to the people in their face and making it look like he's selling them on the greatest thing ever. Of course the younglings help drive him away.

The Team Up has the younglings once again team up Tabor and his pirates to take down a group of bigger pirates. Tabor's little Gamorrean buddy is so stankin' adorable and it was palling around with Nubs too. The antagonist of this episode (Korr?) kind of reminds of Uthar Wynn, a Sith lord you meet on Korriban in KOTOR 1. Oh wait. Is there a connection there? Korr/Korriban?

The episode ended with a question which isn't usual for this show with the younglings wondering about Tabor's ultimate motivations. Are they setting up some sort of redemption or character arc for Tabor?

RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 NIGHT

I was planning to see if I can get the swamp ghost to appear again as I'm trying to trigger all 16 encounters or how ever many it is. I also mailed all the legendary fish to that guy last time so I was planning to receive his correspondence and maybe hunt for some legendary animals now that I can roam the rest of the RDR2 map as John. However, apparently a transformer exploded at a local power station and I lost power for the night, cutting everything short. When I get the funds I really want to get a UPS so my electronics don't get damaged from these frequent outages.

WWE 2K26

Did another round of the Drew McIntyre Birthday Bash while I had Young Jedi Adventures on. I also did that match where it's your two guys against Brock Lesnar and The Rock for Apex Tier rewards. Since the power went out, I only beat them like once or twice instead of the necessary four times to snag all the rewards (more Legends II stuff).

Power outage once again ruins my plans. Tomorrow I have a Preservation Hall Jazz Band show which is like a 3ish hour round trip drive with work early in the morning so I won't be surprised if once again I get no Universe Mode time tomorrow.
