Today's film: "Frauds and Frenzies" (1918)
This one was slightly funnier than all of the solo Hardy/solo Laurel shorts I've been watching. Laurel and Larry Semon seemed to have good chemistry as a duo in this one. Shout out to Semon's stunts with the crane.

Today's episode was: Best Friends/Happy Trails, Nubs
In Best Friends, the younglings pair off for some race. Kai and Nubs team up and lose their map device in a stream of water as they paddle on a log to try and reach it. Couldn't they just retrieve that little item with the force? I suppose that they weren't as centered or focused as older Jedi and let their panic cloud their judgement.
I noticed a little Temple of Doom nod with the rickety bridge that they had to cross. A New Hope itself seemed to have gotten a nod too with Kai and Nubs arguing and agreeing to go their separate ways.
I'm definitely a sucker for little, fuzzy, ol' Nubs so I dug this Nubs-centric episode. Also cool to see blurggs in it. Near the end of the episode when they install the new well, I noticed the unmistakable sound of a certain stock crowd cheer that was like in a 100 cartoons from the 80s and 90s.

VIDEO GAMING
Been battling an illness all day and if I'm not in the bathroom going through it then I'm in bed rolled up into a little ball of pain. Since I got some M.U.S.H.A. in yesterday I was just going to focus on Phantasy Star III then with me still incapacitated in and out of the bathroom I figured I could just do a quick session of PS3 like on Vintage Video Game Nights.
At one point I was thinking ambitiously by planning to play Monster Hunter World (and just refamiliarize myself with the controls and combos) and then finally unwrapped the sealed Monster Hunter Wilds that I got at that recent Gamestop sale where a crop of games were $15 (I picked up Super Mario RPG too. Always wanted it as a kid). Alas, it's past midnight and it looks like I missed out on either MHW.

Was too exhausted from the all-day gruel so I just logged on for the daily bonus. It's Friday so I get a free standard pack for having logged on all day this week. Of course I get nothing but lint and buttons in it.
I've heard chatter that the pack odds for the new Legends II pack are really good so unexpectedly dropped some MFP on a few deluxe packs and I ended up getting a card from the Legends II set like 5/6 times. Definitely the best odds that I've ever encountered.

Another day, another skip and it's been driving me mad. But the Universe shows usually take an hour and by that point I was hanging on by a thread. Once again, here's hoping for tomorrow.
