Today's entry: Proverbs 31

Proverbs 31 is the final chapter of the book of Proverbs, primarily consisting of advice passed from a mother to King Lemuel. It divides into two distinct sections: maternal counsel for rulers on justice and leadership, and a famous acrostic poem detailing the ideal character of a wise and valiant woman.

 GOING THROUGH THE YEARS OF FILM/EARLY 20th CENTURY WORLD EVENTS

Today's film: Squeaks and Squawks (1920)

The naming of recent movies around this period in 1920 seem to share the similar naming convention of "Xs and Ys". I also noticed that this film had the scene of a dude stuck in a geyser from a fire hydrant that had another dude use a big pair of scissors to cut him down (from Bungs and Bunglers) as well as a bar scene from Maids and Muslins. Not sure if I watched the wrong things before or what.

Trunks informs Goku and only Goku of his identity and the Android threat about to come and the implications. I totally must've missed this episode back in the day because I only knew who Trunks was from friends. And since one of them played a lot of Dragonball GT on PSX I assumed that's where Trunks was from because I definitely remember the Android saga.

NEXT UP: Sky Parade Rescue

This was from Free Comic Book Day 2024: All Ages. Three characters from The High Republic Adventures comics are introduced into the Young Jedi Adventures....err...landscape (? since this was a comic and not an animated YJA episode). Those characters were the Jedi younglings Qort, Farzala Tarabal ad Lula Talisola. Kinda cool to see the integration.

Nubs and Qort have to team up despite not understanding each others' language and they pull off their little rescue mission despite the gap in understanding. Shout out to a rodian I saw lugging a late 1970s ice cream maker (some will say he's hauling a camtono of money but come on. Also shout out to a surly looking toydarian buzzing around. Oh and I saw a T3-M4 looking astromech rolling around (from KOTOR).

I've already read this. Possibly even twice. Yet despite reading the title I couldn't tell you what the heck this book is even about. Which may be a HR problem or it very well could be a ME problem. Jury's out.

NO MAN'S SKY NIGHT

SEGA GENESIS DETOURS: PHANTASY STAR III: GENERATIONS OF DOOM/M.U.S.H.A.

M.U.S.H.A. is continues to cheat by cramming the screen with an obscene amount of enemies and bullets. I don't know how one is expected to beat this without scumming save states but fuck all that. Another level down. Also, for some reason the sound stopped working but I don't have enough energy or love for this game to fix it. If it wasn't cheating then maybe.

In Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom, took a ship over to a moon-looking place called Azura.

In one of the previous sessions of No Man's Sky, I okayed a request from my settlement to do some sort of mining expedition. On today's session, I was presented with a gift of gratitude that I in turn donated to the settlement. I started construction on a power generator building and had a heck of a time inserting materials into things. I could have sworn that all it took was dragging a material to its destination and pressing X but apparently it seems like you have to drag it slightly off of its destination. Weird.

I might've forgotten to mention that I got all of the oddity cards to unlock "I'm Your Papi" Eddie Guerrero '05 yesterday. I did some live events to unlock some amethyst cards and one or two world tour matches that are unnecessarily obtuse.

 WWE 2K20 UNIVERSE MODE

WWE Legends brand SmackDown! that featured Legends from RAW '13-'14 since there was no RAW '13-'14 on this week of Sep, week 2. Also did 205 Live. Humberto Carrillo and Lince Dorado had a fun, little match.
