I got a kick out of the wife trying to shoot her cheating husband but she's such a bad shot that Toby the janitor (Laurel) goes over to the hubby and draws a big target on his back. Somehow she seemingly still misses.

Today's episode was: The Starship Show/Nash's Super Busy Day

Nash's uncle has a vintage space Chevy that he's overprotective of. Of course it gets stolen and the kids go get it back and unc learns the lesson of opening the figure from its packaging to enjoy it. Bonus points for the "did you hear that" callback one of the thieving droids dropped.

As a package delivery guy, Nash's Super Busy Day made me a god damn Separatist. Nash entrusts Kai to help her with her deliveries while she does other tasks. She asks him not to mix up the packages and fuck up her ship which is exactly what he ends up doing.

Nash takes it like a warrior champ by taking a deep breath and coming up with a plan to resolve things. She's bigger than I. For I would've called Count Dooku or The Nihil or whatever anti-Jedi faction was running around the galaxy during this era of The High Republic and would've been like "yeah, they're all over there. GETEM"

PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING/PRO WRESTLING GAMING

WWE 2K26

Card market prices went down just as Count Dooku predicted so I was rewarded for my patience in the face of expiring live events. Got some cards needed for the oddities and one (out of a BUNCH) needed for the live event to unlock TNA AJ Styles. Also banged out some World Tour matches hoping that the Danger pack it awarded would give me the necessary Naomi card. It did not.

 WWE 2K20 UNIVERSE MODE

(Going through what would've been 2K21's Universe calendar) 

Finished booking week three of Nitro. Got September, week two, 2019 episode of WWE RAW done. Did some NJPW Young Lions Cup matches in Fire Pro Wrestling World before I realized I had missed some matches in the tournament so I booked up a catchup card to makeup for them.

TIMELINE OF THE WORLD/LITERATURE The book : The Bible Today's entry : Proverbs 23 More Solomonic wisdom going over self-control, gluttony and parental guidance.  GOING THROUGH THE YEARS OF FILM/EARLY 20th CENTURY WORLD EVENTS Today's film : Huns and Hyphens (1918) I really enjoyed the special effects stunts in this one. There was an Assassin's Creed-esque dive off of a barn roof onto a pile of hay. There was tussle in the middle of the street where the two brawling men narrowly avoid getting flattened by a trolley. Furthermore, there was one of those hanging-precariously-from-high-atop-a-building-roof stunts. My favorite one might've been the one where both men glide down from the building on an umbrella.           TIMELINE OF THE WORLD/LITERATURE The book : The Bible Today's entry : Songs 2 These two love birds need to settle down. NEXT UP : Songs 3  GOING THROUGH THE YEARS OF FILM/EARLY 20th CENTURY WORLD EVENTS Today's film : Nothin' I nixed watching The Decorator as well as the other Hardy shorts on my list. I haven't been pleased with my progress as I feel like I've been stuck in 1918-1920 for forever. The Hardy and Laurel solo shorts weren't doing much for me other than just looking through the lens of the late 1910s. So I think I'm going to play it like real life. If a movie simply looks good or is notable enough then I'll check it out while calling possible audibles here and there along the way. Hopefully this will make things move at a more preferable pace for me.
